Pacific Edge very much cares about and values each of our employees. We encourage our staff to take the free clinics, but we have also benefits listed below to recognize your contributions to the team and support your technical skills development as a climber.

Membership Discounts:

Staff working a minimum of 4 shifts in one calendar month will receive a free month of membership the following calendar month.

Note: New hires must work 10 shifts before getting their first free month

Climbing School Course Discounts:

Pacific Edge offers a comprehensive climbing school. Combined, our instructors have decades and decades of experience. If you want to go from indoor climbing to get outdoors, climbing school is a great way to learn. Whether your goals are to Top Rope with friends at Pinnacles or climb El Capitan, we have the class for you.

All Staff:
20 hours per month – 25% Discount

Core Staff (Desk, Setters, & Janitorial Crew):
20 hours per month – 50% Discount

F/T Core Staff and/or Senior Desk Staff – 70%

Additionally, Desk Staff are highly encouraged take Anchors 1 &2 as well as Rappelling 101. PE will cover 100% of the enrollment fee for these courses.

Retail Discounts:

All Employees – get a 20% discount on Snacks.

Core Staff:
20% off retail items in the shop.

Core Staff with over 160 hrs of employment at PE are eligible for and encouraged to purchase climbing related gear and shoes, directly through the pro deal program. Please connect with Scott if you want to take advantage of this benefit.

Additional Core Staff Benefit:
Only Core Staff get free towels.
